Dan is a forward-thinking fintech and treasury strategist with a wealth of experience as an executive and entrepreneur. Dan enjoys envisioning solutions to complex finance / fintech challenges and willing their solutions into existence. Dan began his career in corporate treasury roles at Arthur Andersen, Equity Office Properties, and AON Corporation. In 2002, he founded TreaSolution, Inc. which provides consulting services to organizations seeking to build world-class fintech and treasury management functions. Over the next two decades, expanded TreaSolution's offerings to include events, staffing, and training services. In 2012, Dan was recruited by Northwestern University to teach a post-graduate Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) course. Based on post-course evaluations, 94.29% of students indicated that Dan exceeded their expectations.
In 2018, Dan launched the U.S. Fintech Symposium, a premier two-day event that brings together fintech leaders to discuss practical solutions and industry trends. Following its success, the Fintech Risk & Compliance Forum was introduced in 2023. In 2024, Dan founded Converge Events, which now oversees these conferences along with the Credit Union Growth & Innovation Summit. Converge Events is dedicated to fostering meaningful industry conversations that drive innovation and growth.
Dan is active member of the Treasury Management Association of Chicago and the Northern Illinois University Department of Finance Board of Executive Advisors. An accomplished public speaker, Dan has delivered over 120 sessions on fintech, treasury, networking, and career development.
